Hollow Rotary Actuator can be used in various occasions of rotary motion and replace DD MOTOR and cam. It combines high work efficiency, high precision, high rigidity and an excellent cost/performance ratio. The repeat positioning accuracy is less than 15 arc seconds, the motor is easy to configure, and the load is stable. It can be matched with an AC servo or stepper motor to perform any angle division that digital control can meet, which the divider cannot achieve, and the positioning accuracy is comparable to DD motors. It can significantly reduce costs and bring you unexpected results.

Hollow construction

The swivel plate is hollow structure and the servo motor is attached to the side, which is convenient to install the gas pipe and electric wire in the fixture.

High repeat positioning accuracy

The hollow rotary platform uses a single-stage helical-geared gearbox to increase output torque by reducing speed.

The accuracy level of the gear is 3 arcmin, and the flexible backlash adjustment mechanism controls the backlash by changing the center distance between the two gears, so that the hollow rotary platform is Non-backlash (backlash-free), and the repositioning accuracy is below ±15 arcsec.

High rigidity

The swivel plate is supported by a set of precision cross roller bearings. The rollers in the bearing are offset by 90 degrees and the diameter of the rollers is slightly larger than the size of the orbit between the inner ring and the outer ring of the bearing. There is a pre-tightening force between the inner and outer ring and rollers, so that the bearing-supported servo pivot plate of the rotary platform can withstand various moments such as radial, axial and overturning, and its stiffness is more than 10 times higher than that of traditional bearings.
