The Model Y transmission is a future-oriented new third generation harmonic drive system based on patented speed reduction technology. It has an exclusive all-new tooth structure and profile design and uses third harmonic technology to replace second harmonic technology, flexspline and bearings.<\/p>\n

Compared to the previous generation of the traction wave transmission, the transmission accuracy and torsional stiffness is doubled. It is the world’s first speed reducer that achieves transmission accuracy within 10 arc seconds and fundamentally solves the problems around clutch vibration.<\/p>\n

The main parts of the Model Y gearbox are developed using unique materials and special heat treatment processes; the model is well suited for applications that require incredibly high transmission accuracy. Like all other LD harmonic gearboxes, it has a strong load capacity, good system stiffness and low output vibration.<\/p>\n
